About Lee
I am an architect, photographer, lapsed skater, husband and father to a daughter and two boys.
A few years after the birth of our first child, ID8 designs was created in 2005 to provide a personalised architect service to provide bespoke solutions to a more tranquil way of living tailored to your needs.
We nurture designs that lead you through into light-filled, calm and relaxing spaces. Each house and its location are different and deserve an individual approach to create your own individual sanctuary.
I have a wealth of knowledge to share, helping you create the house of your dreams, step by step, guiding you on your ultimate journey into creating a harmonious home. If you value the knowledge and design experience that an architect can bring to your project, do not hesitate to get in touch!
My background has been across the commercial and residential sectors in the UK and in Hong Kong for over more than 25 years. I worked at award winning architects, Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners, Terry Farrell Partnership and BurlandTM amongst others. Projects during this period include Pinewood, Shepperton and Ealing film studios, high-end retail, and a range of residential projects including Falcon Wharf and one-off housing. Hong Kong projects have encompassed newbuild and fitout of commercial and public buildings, including the Henley Building, Yen Chow Street Station and Guess? Jeans corporate offices and showrooms. Current work concentrates on high quality residential projects.
Lee is a chartered RIBA architect, registered with the ARB (Architects Registration Board).
About Justine
I am wife to Lee, mother to our daughter and twin boys and co-designer at id8 Designs.
I have had a long career as a fashion designer in the UK, Europe and the Far East. I worked for a number of years as a fashion designer before going on to be a designer for Guess? in Hong Kong, collaborating with the Los Angeles HQ. This led on to a management role at Gruppo GFT across South East Asia, in visual merchandising of luxury label retail outlets, including Valentino and Ungaro.
On return to the UK, I led the visual merchandising team for the setup of the Niketown London flagship store in 2000. I also worked at Nike European Headquarters in the Netherlands for corporate visual merchandising across Nike Europe.
Justine provides valuable background feedback to the visuals and flow of design options. She will venture onto site during the construction stage…
