Lee is an architect, photographer, lapsed skater, husband and father to a daughter and two boys.
The company was set up in 2005 to provide a personal collaborative design service.We create creative modern designs for houses that lead the occupants through into light filled and airy spaces. We aim to transform how living spaces are used and challenge preconceptions.

Lee has a background across the commercial and residential sectors in the UK and in Hong Kong over more than 25 years. He has worked at award winning architects, Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners, Terry Farrell Partnership and BurlandTM amongst others. He set up id8 designs in 2005 to allow working from home and to be around as his young family grow up.
UK projects have included Pinewood, Shepperton and Ealing film studios, shopping centres, high-end retail, and a range of residential projects including Falcon Wharf and one-off housing. Hong Kong projects have encompassed newbuild and fitout of commercial and public buildings, including the Henley Building, Yen Chow Street Station and Guess? Jeans corporate offices and showrooms. Current work concentrates on high quality residential projects.
